April 14 & 15, 2012: BBQ

Had a nice weekend with a short BBQ and friends and a short casual sail the next day. Enjoy the video.

April 9, 2012: O-R-I-O-L-E-S!

Wayyyy too windy to have a casual sail (30knts) so we went to the O's game instead. Hung out at the brand new Dempsey's Deck Bar in center field. Best view in the stadium.

April 7, 2012: Beat Into B-more:

Hard beat up the Patapsco river into Baltimore. W / NW at a steady 20knts then gusting to 30 inside the Port Of Baltimore. 2.5 hrs from Jones creek to fort McHenery on reefed main and 110%. A loop or two around the inner harbor (enjoy video below) then back out. 1.5hrs from fort McHenery to Jones Creek on a wing and wing with wind subsiding to 12-15knts.

Tech: Some dodger issues when using reefed main. Dodger issues for traveler access as well. Old sheets sliding in new winch jaws... Dodger tweaks and new sheets needed.
